Springtime Wine Recommendations

Springtime Wine Recommendations

The snow is melting and springtime is on the horizon.

We’re here to help accomodate the new season! What we offer here at Talon Wine Brands is an abundance of local selections. With over 30 varieties to choose from, we have superpower wines for every time of the year. Lighter and sweeter varieties are the stars of spring, and we have traditional grape, botanical, and honey wines that fit beautifully into this seasonality.

Here are our recommendations for Spring: white and rosé grape varieties for their refreshing and lighter body, botanical wines that match the fruits currently in season, and honey wines that are lightly sweet. Remind your taste buds of the flavors to come, such as blackberries, semi-sweet honey, and rosé wine.

Honey Shere'

Our Honey Shere' is decadence in a glass. Made from the highest quality ingredients and aged in oak barrels, it is rich, mellow and luscious. It has expansive flavors of fresh honey, caramel and vanilla married together in perfect harmony for your after-dining pleasure.

Strawberry Rhubarb

St. Kathryn Cellars Strawberry Rhubarb wine is a very popular wine that takes you back to Grandma's famous pie. It is sweet, tart, and delicious! Made from premium quality fruit, grown with care. Serve chilled by itself or with food, but always with family and friends.

Pinot Grigio

Talon Pinot Grigio is pleasant and easy to drink. Dry yet quite fruity with hints of mango, citrus, and star fruit. Serve chilled, it is refreshing by itself or with lighter food such as seafood, salads, poultry, pasta with alfredo sauce, or appetizers.

Recipe Highlight

Sangria, with a twist! This new creation gives extra life to a classic recipe. Using our Apple Blossom wine, this sangria is light and not overly sweet. Offer up this recipe to customers, they will love it!
